The NEUTRALOX® Additive Air technology represents a variation of the NEUTRALOX® Corona Discharge technology. This variation is especially suitable for applications with high air-flow rates and rather low concentrated odours. The contaminated air is not ionized directly in this case. Rather, ions are generated from clean ambient air, which is then mixed (added) into the contaminated air stream.
A downstream reactor allows for sufficient reaction between pollutants and oxidants. The result is considerable odour reduction and the treated clean gas may be released into the atmosphere.
The NEUTRALOX® Additive Air technology is often used for odour control of large process buildings and storage halls.
